PrestoCast is a micropodcasting platform. What is micropodcasting? The same thing microblogging is to blogging. The clearest example is Twitter, now X, for text. With podcasts there was a gap, and PrestoCast is here to fill it.

It’s a project by Joan Boluda, an online marketing consultant and successful entrepreneur. The idea struck me as brilliant for how convenient it is, for how little commitment it takes to prepare a script or outline. At the end of the day it’s just 1 minute long, but that gives you more room than you’d think. It also helps you get straight to the point.
